Publishing to App Store question

So, I'm new to all of this.

Let's say i want to upload my game to the app store, I need to pay $$ to do this? Or can i just submit it?

I see that you need a $99 payment for iOS dev, or something.

Can anyone explain to me what exactly i need to do, what is needed to be paid, ect, to start publishing games to the App store.

You need to go to this website, https://developer.apple.com/programs/ios/, and pay $99 dollars with tax(around $105 or $110) with a actual credit or debit card, not a debit gift card or a credit gift card.

When you say app store, that means Android right? If you're using GameSalad, you don't need to pay $99 but you need Pro to publish to Android, which is $299 a year.
