I attended a Amazon Fire TV Workshop in San Francisco

Smartphones apps are saturated. The next opportunity is apps for "TVs".

A "Remote" is included with every Amazon Fire TV. Support simple four-way navigation and selection input from the remote itself.

Endless runner games, turned based games and other mechanics that don't require precision input can be played with the "REMOTE".

The 6 Main Inputs from the REMOTE
Up, Down, Left, Right, Back, Select

    Handle DPAD_UP, DPAD_DOWN, DPAD_LEFT, DPAD_RIGHT to navigate your layout.
DPAD_CENTER is the "Enter" key. You can capture these events by overriding the onKeyDown method of your View.

At the Amazon TV Workshop they had lots of games and most can be played with just the "REMOTE".

GameSalad please consider adding support for the Amazon TV Remote!! It is just 5 Key Events!!
