Hi there,
maybe someone of you have an idea.
In my project I want to do a cannon ball in the ground visible,
like in my attached image.
Have any of you ever realized something?
Hanging straight and come not on.

You want it so that when the cannon hits the ground it creates a hole in there?

Im not entirely sure but I am guessing you could do it something like -
On the hill have lots of art with a variety of hole sizes, if the cannon ball can hit all parts of the hill.
DamageActor self_ to colour alpha 0
Then, when Actor Cannon ball collides with Hill change alpha on damage actor to 1
Something along these lines I think. But then you come in to collision inside the holes etc.

yes, that´s an option, but not so pretty.
In addition the hole size depends on the speed of the cannon.
So i'm still looking for another solution.

That's what I thought you could do...something like a change image, but that wouldn't work too well because the canon ball could land anywhere.
