I've been using gamesalad for a few weeks now and im to the point that I would like to add Background music. I downloaded an mp3 file and converted it to an m4a file. It is playing fine outside of gamesalad but it wont play in the media tab or the game preview. If someone could give me a hand, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Did you convert the file yourself, or did you let GameSalad do it?
And are you on Windows or Mac?
Maybe this thread will help you:

SlickZero, Im on Windows and I converted the file myself. I tried a few different .m4a files and they all worked fine. It's only the one specific file that isnt working inside gamesalad. Im guessing there's just a problem with the file.
You can try to let GameSalad do the conversion for you, and if that doesn't work, the link that @allc1865 posted should do the trick.
SlickZero, yeah its still not working.
Every other m4a file is working fine its just the one. Heres the link to the download http://www.freesfx.co.uk/soundeffects/instruments/ its the one called Tip Toes.
I may just look for a new file at this point.
You need to be sure you have a driver to run m4a files. It's not GS but your system software. I believe GS can now handle WAV files.
