QuBe - Out now on iOS and Android
Hi everyone, my latest Game Salad game - QuBe - is now released on both iOS and Android today.
QuBe (pronounced Q-Bee) is a simplistic yet addictive puzzle, action game. Featuring up to 20 mini-games, players race against the clock to complete each random min-game they face. With each round of games, the time required to complete each game will get shorter, requiring players to quickly assess the challenge and complete it before the time runs out. Players can also make a mistake under the pressure of time, which will also lose one of three lives.

As always, if you get to download it i'd really appreciate a rating, and even better a glowing review
Enjoy swiping, sliding, jumping and collecting in QuBe!

Love the look of this, my only concern is as the games are very short 20 might not be enough but if it does get popular (fingers crossed) you can always add more

Wordgraphy / Polycolor / 20 Seconds / Minimal Maze
Thanks @DeepBlueApps, the aim is to release more mini-games via updates, however 20 felt just enough for release without feeling too repetitive.
Thanks for the stars and comments @onelasttime

I think it looks good too; love the clean+simple graphics & "8-bit" style music/sounds. :-) Darren makes a good point; add much more levels, and you could be on to a winner! Either way, best of luck.

Excellent game... feels very polished! Love it!
I think it have just enough mini games right now, wait a bit while before adding more...
What ad service are you using in it? And why didn't you added banners ads too? (eg iad)
Hey! I just downloaded this game and all I can say is that you need a lot more levels! It's crazy fun! Please start adding more levels as soon as possible! Maybe you could get some other GS developers to work on levels for you. Just a suggestion. I'm Just super addicted.
This is my kind of game
Thanks for all your kind comments everyone!
Haha. That's brilliant. Thank the little fella.
It is using Chartboost at the moment, based on a timer rather than a view counter.
Personally I've found Chartboost to be an overall better option for cross promo options and revenue. I am not a fan of banner ads in games , I've not had great revenue experience with them either. I find they use up real estate in the game (more so in a landscape game), and as a player i've never tapped on a banner ad in a game (on purpose that is ) during gameplay, so I really don't see the point of having them during gameplay. Interstitials do create that pause between experiencing your game, but I think if you find that sweet spot of timing and placement, as well as removal via IAP, players will benefit from an unobtrusive experience during gameplay.
...Wow that turned out longer than I was expecting
Thanks again everyone.
@FatFish I knew this game was going to be great, but it was even better then I expected!
Fun, addictive, and all around enjoyable
Great job!
Fantastic little game - rated and five starred. More levels would be awesome.
Great! thank you @imjustmike
i absolutely love it!
@fatfish Can you tell me what ads you used for QuBe, they look so smooth. And by the way, fun game!
@MoneyBags thanks
QuBe is using Chartboost Interstitials. Using GS 11.1.15. It's all about choosing the right place to air them, I find.
Hope that helps.
@FatFish awesome game! great job
@FatFish
Fun game to play!
Awesome
Hi FatFish,
GREAT GAME.
I noticed that the ads only appear when I clicked on the home button and not during exit game. Can I know whether u did this is purpose ?
Can I know u did this game by using Windows creator or Mac creator ?
Thanks,
SWATDOG
This game is looking cool. But if you are looking drinking game app for iPhone. You can download from App Store.
Thanks @swatdog
Yes this is on purpose. It should only show ads when coming back to the menu from pause, exit game over and via the shop, on top of this it is only going to fire the ad if 30seconds has passed since the user last saw an ad, rather than spam players every time they die/quit early on. Personally I hate this in free-to-play games and it leads to instant delete of the game. This makes it a less ad heavy game, yet I hope it leads to players keeping the game on their phone/tablet as well as play regularly
QuBe was done on the Mac creator using RC 11.1.15 for iOS ad bug fix.
Hope that helps
Hi FatFish,
Thanks for your info.
@FatFish
Great game!!! However, I would suggest you put the shop/remove ads/unlock full game on the main menu. I think far fewer people will find it in the settings so you're missing out on revenue from people that actually would've bought it but just didn't see it.
