Touch buttons on ipad, do not work!

Hi! sorry for my bad english. I would like to have help with my touch buttons on iPad.
I created buttons, that change picture when they are pressed. Just to see if the buttons react when i touch.
The thing is that they react, but i also did so a player moves up,down, left and right when i press those buttons. All of this is working when i try it in gamesalad and when i try it on arcade in the web.

The problem is that, the player dont move when i press this buttons on my iPad, only the picture of the buttons changes.

does anyone know how to solve this problem?
