Good music maker

Im looking to making my own music and wanted to get yalls opinion about a good editing program or what you found the worked for you. I was looking into Magix Music Maker. Has anyone tried this? There were other ways I could try this but it seemed like this was the better way.

    I guess your not on mac otherwise GarageBand would have been the cheapest/easiest way. If it features acoustic instruments I prefer pro tools or adobe audition. If it's electronic I've would go for Reason or Fruity Loops.

    No I don't have a mac I have a PC. I will get a mac sometime but for now I have to make do! Lol
