Resizing image in gamesalad problem

So Im not that good at math I have a 400 by 400 image, isn't that divisible by 2? Im not sure how that works really, I just have a very pixelated/bad image when I preview this on picture I uploaded. Looks fine when I don't resize though.

Yep, it's divisible by 2. Did you make sure the image file is 72 dpi? What is the size of the actor you're using for that image? And what is the original image file size in pixels?

It wasn't clear from your description if 400x400 was the actor size or the imported file size.

In adobe photoshop, the pixel dimensions 400 by 400, and the document size is 1.587 by 1.587. Is the document size the problem? If so how do I fix it since when I change the document size my pixel dimensions change

No, not document size. Resolution. Dots per inch (dpi) or pixels per inch can be set in Photoshop. I use the Mac version and it can be changed by clicking on Image Size... in the Image menu.

    Switch off 'resample image'.

Ohh okay, I change my settings a bit.

    pixel dimensions 468.8k
    W:400
    H:400

    Document size
    W:2inchs
    H:2inchs
    Resolution: 200inch

But it's still coming out bad. Is it the pixel dimensions?

I'm not sure what Resolution: 200inch is but I would change it to 72 pixels/inch.
