Why won't GS let me add a second scene to my game?

I'm working on this game and I currently have one scene done, so I'm ready to start the next scene, but every time I click the + button in the scenes tab, Game Salad crashes. Could it be that I have too many actors in my first scene because you could say that I have a lot in the first scene? This has happened with two different games now, both have a lot of actors in the first scene. Is there a way to fix this?
