Hey guys, I'm new to gamesalad and decided to make an original game to familiarize myself with the software, so I'm making Snake. Can anyone tell me how to make my "snake" move along a grid? Also, am I going to have to create a new actor that is one block longer for every time a chunk is eaten? Last question is, how would I make chunks follow the original chunk? Sorry I have so many questions.. This is very challenging for me

Honestly recreaing snake is probably not the best idea to learn GameSalad. Although it seems like a simple concept, snake is actually challenges to make in gamesalad. I would recommend trying something else when learning the engine.

I was kind of thinking that. Thanks
What well known game to you guys think would be a good game to try and recreate in order to learn the program? I guess the ideal game wouldn't require much working around, but it would cover most of the key concepts that someone ought to learn.
Pong is always a good starting point.

It might be difficult to write an AI for Pong, but maybe Breakout?
Yeah, Breakout is another nice starting point.
A bonus of both that and pong is that you don't even need any art, you can use simple squares and rectangles right in Gamesalad.
