I am trying to add a set of animations into my game, but the art i have is in the form of a sprite sheet and i am not sure how to break up the sheet into individual animations. I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me?

You'll need to separate it into evenly-sized files. Photoshop and other graphic editing software can automate this for you or allow you to do it manually. It helps if the sprite sheet is evenly-spaced.

If your using a mac there is a nifty app called freesprite. Its....free of course and it breaks sprite sheets into individual png images for you.
