Very Frustrating :(

Spending more than 60 Hours building a game, register to Pro account, read and read and learn and learn.
An finally shocked with the fact that Windows users can not monetize their games !!!

    Chartboost Requires 0.11.0 or later.
    RevMob Requires 0.11.0 or later.

So why gamesalad promised undoable things ??? i think it is time to search alternatives.

It is frustrating for windows users. Even us mac users fell fowl of zero android monitization before the update. I suppose some might say you should have checked before you upgraded but that doesn't help you now. What I would do personally is contact GS support and ask them to suspend your pro account until they release 11.0 for PC. I don't see why they wouldn't? Got to be worth a try.

It is a dream to get any answer for your ticket from GS ... thanks for suggestion I"ll try to find alternatives , many are in the market.

I tend to disagree. GameSalad is actually pretty decent at answering questions, especially seeing as there are so many of them.

And 60 hours? Try 600. It's definitely frustrating. Been waiting for what feels like forever, for the Windows Creator 10.5 release....

If you're publishing to iOS, you need to run the publishing process on a Mac anyway. So perhaps just stick your ads in at that point too.

    JodyMitoma, thanks for your comment.

I have opened three tickets asking for some things like is it possible to add fonts to the GS? Is it possible to ... ( Very simple questions ), but have got no answer till now for more than ten days. However i am not here to say bad things about GS, they have done very well application and i really appreciate their efforts. But small things can be big issues if not taken into considerations.

60 Hours or 600 Hours it is not your issue i think. and my game contains more than 100 objects with complex mathematical movements and synchronized sounds and many scenes ... you can imagine how easy it is to make such game ??!!

    Look at this page:

    http://gamesalad.com/creator/pricing

Says monetization is supported for Pro users.
My main point was that GS promised what is not true till now for windows users, such feature should be excluded from windows users and be on the road map not on the Go Pro features or at least clarify the accurate situation.

Do you know anybody with a Mac that you could use? At least you could get your monies worth?

Hi Meedoing, sorry to hear this, but you can easily export your from Windows to Mac. Once you have opened your project, You just need to select file>export> Select Mac. I myself use windows as I am very comfortable with it and then I export and test on Mac. But remember you cannot revert back once you start working on Mac Creator.. So I work on Windows creator and test it on MAc Creator..

The gamesalad windows UI is better than Mac, but unless you ONLY want to publish to HTML5 it's safest to never touch it. Mac creator is the one gamesalad best supports. I've even had a few difficulties exporting pc made games to Mac, you may have to start from scratch once you get your Mac.

You can use Mac in the cloud to publish to iOS.

One advice: Install Virtual Mac on your Windows PC via Vmware, it works perfectly. Search on youtube for tutorials and do it. It is quite easy, i am using it for months.
