Hello.. I'm working with windows. I found out that I need to have resolution independence checked for my app to work with all platforms. Problem is that I don't have a "project info" tab and I really don't want to restart all my work because I forgot to check one little thing.
What is an Ideal size of a scene. Like what do you guys use? Because...
I found out that I need to have a size of 960 by 640 for it to work with all Iphones, Ipods & Ipads. Is that true? (also would I need to change the size of my camera to 960 by 640 rather than 480 by 320)
Thanks

No. Resolution independence scales the artwork so it will look good on all devices.
There is not a common size for all devices, so you can use overscan with offset rules, or stretch (on a Mac).

@bjandthekatz it doesnt matter if the camera size is 480 by 320 and the scene is 960 by 640? It'll just go to size of the platform the user is using? and the Resolution independence there is no way to change it I just have to redo everything?
Why do you need your scene to be double your camera size? I don't know about PC, but on a Mac its a simple check to enable resolution independence.

@bjandthekatz just forget for a second I said anything about resolution independence. I want to know if my camera size is 480 by 320, does it matter if the size of my scene is 960 by 640. I thought the camera size and the scene size had to be the same always? Like for example what size camera do you use when you make games and your scene? That would help me a lot if I knew what other people were using.
I make my camera the same size as my standard scene (568x320).

@bjandthekatz okay if I make my camera that it should work for all the apple platforms? So if I change the scene to 1000 by 1000 it should effect anything right?
1000 by 1000 is just an example
You should leave the camera how it is. You will have to use rules to adjust the camera position to fit multiple sizes , or you can use stretch.

@bjandthekatz you mean like camera control?
Yes. You would adjust the size of the camera and offset to get the view you are desiring with universal builds.
