What is the default Android hardware "Back" button behavior?

Does the Back button on Droid Phones move the user between scenes, or is it just out of the game? I've been attaching integer resets and what not to menu navigation buttons. I'm just now realizing the user may be able to circumvent that if Droid's Back button can supercede things.

I'm seeing references to "Tizen Back Button" but I'm not getting a clear understanding of it. It looks like in order to constrain the Hardware Back button to scene navigation, you need to use a behavior?

If Back button just exits the game, I'm okay with that. If it pushes the user back a scene, I'll need to restructure.

Its default is to exit. You have to manually add the behavior if you want it to reverse scenes.
