iphone provisioning
I'm trying to install a partially made app to see what it looks on my iPhone. First time doing this. So I watched the game salad video on the topic but it differs from Xcode 5?? I just don't have the understanding to get through it. Half way through it so I guess a "half wit'
I have a basic understanding of Xcode
I have apple dev account
Device Id
Provisioning profile with bundle identifier
downloaded
gamesalad viewer is downloaded
iPhone is attached
Downloaded profile. Asks if I wish to add provisional profile. Yes.
click gamesaladview Xcode
This is where things differ on the video. The video goes into game salad viewer.
Mine just goes into Xcode.
So my understanding isn't deep enough to finish..... I tried changing the bundle identifier to the new one.
Video goes into "build" search "code s"
So two hours trying to understand this but Im stuck...................... error in Xcode for validate project settings to boot.
Thank-you for your help.

Are you trying to install the GameSalad viewer or adhoc the app?

Sorry I had the question clearly laid out but it auto wrapped when I posted.
I was following this video
I wish to adhoc the app to see what it looks like on the phone.
I have Gamesalad viewer now on my iPhone. I tried running it but requests that I update my version of viewer. (downloaded it yesterday???)
Will download again and try.
thanks
It works............
Downloaded viewer again and it seems to work!!
Thanks for your interest
Turned it off and restarted.
Run preview in game salad and it still requests the latest version of game viewer. Just downloaded it five minutes ago???????
Keeps asking for the latest version of game viewer???
Ok. I get it.
I assumed viewer was ON computer and ran through xcode. And xcode simulator was used to test app or( load app on iPhone)
Gamesalad viewer is an APP on phone!!!!! Then "streams" game by wifi. Of course xcode gets viewer on phone.
So this is not ad hoc. Just running through viewer. Duh. I will need ad hoc eventually but one battle at a time.
Now I understand your question. I am just using viewer. Ad hoc will come in a bit.
Thanks!!
