Can't publish my game because the GS starting ad
Hello all,
I'm in a bit problem - Apple are rejecting my game. They said that the reason is the GS starting ad (their answer is at end of the letter) . I was spending a lot of time and hard work on my game to the iOS. Also bought the an 100$ developer account. I'm looking forward to your help in the issue.
"Your app displays apps, other than your own, for purchase or promotion, in a manner similar to the App Store, but it is not designed for a specific, approved need. This is not in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines.
Please refer to the attached screenshot/s for more information.
Please review your app to evaluate what features you can add to significantly differentiate your app from the App Store, both functionally and visually. Apps that also include filtering, bookmarking, searching, or sharing recommendations are not considered to be significantly different from the App Store.
Also, be sure to restrict your app content to a specific need, such as health management, aviation, accessibility, etc. or provides significant added value for a specific group of users. Additionally, your app should feature robust editorial content, for example, from industry experts, bloggers, or publishers."

Any help? anyone also had this troubles before?
I've not encountered this but it sounds very worrying indeed if this is a new rule from Apple.

It's a game.
they probably have a problem with the startin "more games" ad i guess.
if they keep rejecting you, submit a bug report so GS can look at it

Yeah. As I said Apple's problem is the GS network ad. I think it's really absurd - GS saying that you can develop an app to the iOS, but apple are not allowing because this ad, which GS don't letting remove.
Did you check yes in the Advertising Identifier and check the first two boxes before publishing?
If not that can be causing your rejection.
In the release notes of 0.11.0.13 it says:
"Free users must select "yes" to using the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) when uploading their app through iTunes Connect, as well as check the first two Advertising Identifier options. Pro Users will only need to check this option based on whether or not they are using ads in their app."
