@paulirving I would edit your link because I tried it twice & was about to not bother again when I noticed someone else had posted. It will only annoy people who ideally you want to review your game! Most people wouldn't try twice. It's worth editing.

Using a trademark without permission in the hope that it might confuse buyers as to what they are buying is a good thing . . . . . ?
thanks for feedback folks, appreciate it.
Just to pick up on a couple of things........
which link to change? i think the one to the game works?
full game title is chicken run - ultimate runner.
actually should have done my homework a bit better though as there are quite a few games titled chicken run on the app store currently.
chicken run the movie is over 14 years old, i am sure they wont mind
out of interest any ideas to improve it for its first update?
I am already thinking about introducing left and right touch pad so dont have to use tilt.
adding more items to collect.
collect certain amount to activate a feature maybe.
thanks again for your valuable feedback.

They are guaranteed to mind ! In fact Dreamworks (who own the rights to international merchandising for the name 'Chicken Run') employ people solely to mind infringement of their intellectual property rights ! Arguing that the name is 14 years old won't work as a legal defence.
The Blu-ray of Chicken Run was only released last month and Chicken Run 2 was only released last year, but that's all besides the point as even without this more recent marketing of the brand your use of the name would still be a breach of their IP.
I know copyright infringement is treated pretty lightly on the forums, and usually you can get off with little more than a cease and desist order, but I expect one day (and especially if your game does reasonably well) this approach will end up causing someone a lot of trouble (and costing them money).

P.S . . . . if you are looking for a theme for your next game Star Wars is 37 years old and Spiderman is 52 years old, both ripe for the picking

ah touche, but lets be honest my game has nothing to do with the movie.

That's beside the point, Dreamworks own the brand and hold the exclusive rights to exploit that brand, whether it's a TV series, video game or T-Shirt.
An oven glove in the shape of Dart Vader's head has nothing to do with the Star Wars movie, but that doesn't mean you can launch a range of Star Wars themed kitchenware

maybe so but that does not stop the chinese
All these points factually true, Chicken Run is 14 years old, your game has nothing to do with the movie and the Chinese are said to have a reputation for IP infringement . . . . but none of them offer you a legal defence.

It looks really fun! great job
But I think you should change the game name, it may confuse people with the "Chicken Run" cartoon (http://imdb.to/1uAZqoS)
That can only be a good thing (in the form of downloads)

Agreed, it might confuse people - and the owners of Chicken Run are likely to have the game pulled if they see it.
May have a point there @Socks !
Run chicken run!
Now there's a title....

Mickey Mouse is a lot older than that and Disney would lay an egg if you used his name.
See what I did there...
