in Announce Your Game!

Hi guys! I am pretty excited to announce "The Jumpy Boy", the first game i am making with game salad:)

It's not ready yet but i am working every single day to complete it at least at a stage where people can play it with fun :)

Basically the idea is that society has turned everybody into squares (no, it's not an excuse to make a square character actor, it is the actually story!) and you are the only one different that wants to get out of this society. All this in a kind of 16bits fashion.

There are different game modes:

  1. endless ,
  2. story(not working for now),
  3. 2P mode (not working either for now).

You can unlock different stages, which is a pretty cool thing for a endless situation to not get bored:)

And finally some gameplay!:


Speed increases if you do good, as well as points with combos. In each level of difficulty you enter a mission: is it collect a precise number of coins? combo-miss monsters? run at max speed? who knows, it's random! in the meanwhile you get
both coins and gems, to unlock or use superpowers( still to be done). While you complete level after level, the "square" destroys itself, revealing your true "you".

This game at certain levels run pretty fast: even more than 1000 in terms of linear motion"

and if you lose your energy? well, you can imagine:
