Regarding platformer template

Hi, please tell me how I can move this smoothly with "Touch" instead of "Key"?
I am making a game with the actor moving left and right but the game scene itself moves up and down(when actor falls, it's game over)
I tried accelerate to but it moves very slowly and it pick up speed later. Do I constrain it, if so how is this done?

Sorry I am a newb with Pro status.
