Spawn platforms on Both sides of screen but different heights

Good day Everyone, Am looking at how to spawn a platform on both left and right side of the screen but they should have different height with each being higher than the previous one by a certain random Value. What i mean is that at first, if i start with the right side, then the next platform should be on the Left and higher than the previous one, and then the following next on the right and higher and so on.. like a jumping platform game. I was thinking tables but not sure how to do it.. Any ideas or templates i can use as an example. Thank you.
