Clouds Kill, A new Ipad game. Please comment on what I can improve on.

Thanks for your time checking out my game. The games called Clouds Kill and is free! Would appreciate feedback and constructive criticism! NOT A FLAPPY BIRD GAME!

    Also for the life of me I cannot figure out why my icon in app store is glitched looking vs the install icon..they are the same?!?! It looks like Itunes had my gimp file and moved the layers around, but of course i uploaded the correct size .png Its driving me nuts.

    I'm going to be 100% honest with you so if your easily offended please don't read:

    As I do not have an iPhone or any IOS device (Lost it :'( ) I'm just going on the previews I can see in the itunes store: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/clouds-kill/id853429860?mt=8

    Starting off on the homepage: Overall its good, informative with your scores and highscores but do you really need the score on the homepage? surely this will always be 0 when you first load up the app, maybe consider swapping score for play and keep the menu in line.

    USE .PNG!!! It pains me to see the white box, You can get rid of this online, just search for a 'Magic Wand Tool' programs like Photoshop, fireworks etc will have this then save as .PNG when you slap it on your actor there wont be a white box - Genius right?

    Now I like the health bar how it empties, however it empties so do you really need your dead printed on it? This leads me onto my next point

    With the GameOver screen I would advise maybe dimming the game a little when your end score shows, make it a little more simple

    Thanks for your time and comments! Yeah the home screen score thing reasoning was that when you go back from playing and you want to compare your last score against the high score, I should probably hide that on startup.

    Please advise where that is, I'm well aware of transparency/.png creation and every image has transparency. so im just confused where you noticed it and would like to fix!

    Yeah the you dead thing was a little ribbing/banner ad is at the top sometimes so i had it in there for testing shoulda removed thanks!

    OH I think with the transparency are you talking about the buttons on lower right side?

    Personally no I wouldn't stop the scene if it's still moving, I like how you think! and yeah bottom right corner:

    What would you advise to do with buttons? I was shooting for the new flat feeling that Itunes is pushing. I did not want an opaque button so the player can see stuff behind it but is not confused that the button is on in game adversary. Should I just do a square outline with 100% transparency?

    Yeah I understand what you need.

    Have you tried to see how it looks at 50% transparency without the white box? maybe it's just me not liking white so you could try have a 50% transparent black background

    ok, thanks for the advice. Guess this forum is a tough sell to get people to actually try my game, Do you know of any forums that would be more receptive to "play test"?
