Animate a character falling from sky to ground

Good day all, Its my first post here and i have been using GameSalad for 3 days now. I have a little problem which am not sure how to go about it. basically i am making a simple prototype game where a character falls from the sky and lands on the ground(on a small cityscape). now i have i created the feeling of character movement by animating clouds and other stuffs fly past the character but am not sure how to do the cityscape. I tried animating it using interpolation and change attribute y-position of the ground but its feels way off. Please an idea how i can go about this so it feels like the character fell all the way to the ground. An Example will be greatly appreciated

You could always increase your scene size and make the height a lot higher, maybe even have the Start Page at the top, once you tap start the character falls to the ground, just control camera with the main actor

i was trying to avoid this because i would have wanted to make it from a variable far distances and would have prefered to just animate the other elements as it won't be efficient to produce different scene sizes that way.. will try what you suggest but if you can think of another way, will be all ears..
