    thanks everybody :)

yellow mushrooms is bouncy spring type actor!

I expect to leave full-time job began in June for indie game development,at taiwan.

No full-time jobs, is a big risk...

    but,I still want to try.

I want to know gamesalad developer guys are a full-time game developers or still have other jobs?

It is a brave person to be a full-time developer with GS.
If you have low overheads as in you live with your mum and dad and do not have any outgoings then sure you can do it. If you have any of these: mortgage, wife, kid(s) then you would be mad.

I am employed full-time and GS is a side affair. I will not give up my job to chase a fickle market of people wanting free Apps…even with a hit I wouldn't, it can all unfold very quickly.

    hmm...

    I have no parents.

and i have wife , a newborn baby less than a month. :)

    And a home mortgage...

Fortunately, I have been working for 10 years, has accumulated a small deposit,

    my full-time job income $1,500 a month.

at taiwan,As long as $1,000 a month is enough to life use.

    The case in other countries?

You game looks cool. Does it have z-space movement? Coz that would be awesome.

Also please look for part-time work. You need regular income.

Well I think you would be producing good quality games so I think you have a good chance. I would be going for mass apps rather than long developing ones.

good luck on your next chapter of game developing

@ kirafu. I agree with what lycettebros said, "If you have any of these: mortgage, wife, kid(s) then you would be mad." I am a Web Developer, a graphic artist, a photographer, video producer and I own my own business and home, no kids, so I can afford to spend time learning GS and trying to build games and an app business. I have been learning and using GS for over 2 years and have 3 iOS apps in the App Store. So far I have not made enough money from them to feed a dog... good thing I don't have one.

I would suggest keeping your job, finish your app, release it, promote it and see how it goes. Then repeat the process until you have several apps in the marketplace bringing in money before you quit your job.

You artwork is beautiful and I think many developers would be happy to hire you. See if you can get some paid artwork jobs on Elance or Odesk, or even from some GameSalad members. Look under "Help Wanted" in this Forum.

    Wishing you well.

That is very high quality work! I love your art style. As the poster above suggested, I would recommend doing some odd jobs on oDesk to support your game dev career.

    Thanks everybody suggestion!

    I have a dream,

and the value of pursuing my dream is much higher than just completing it.

I have 10 years of work experience,

I wasted too much time working for someone else,

Until recently, I got to understand what God wants me to do.

    I already prepared 2 years,

    Consider the variety of situations,

In the future, also need fourms sustained attention and help,

It will be hard to start.

but,i'll try to do my best.

    Thanks everybody Again,and i need your attention,thanks
