That is pretty normal for sales now days unless it catches on some where or gets a major review. Game looks fun.
I think this is very common. We all want our games to go viral an get tons of download but many of us tend to forget that the competition out there is extremely hard. But i understand your disapointment
Hey there, sorry it's not as successful as you'd like.
I think part of the problem is your approach to getting it seen.
Firstly, your official trailer is a bit lacking. Instead of a simple, classy trailer, It has an 'epic' feel to it more suited to an RPG, adventure or a strategy title. I think it's an iMovie template, and frankly it doesn't really work with the game you have on offer!
I also had a look at your toucharcade thread (as the people there are generally lovely) and it generated no interest it seems. This may be down to a number of reasons:
Unless you're someone well known, like Vlambeer or Half-Brick, then a title like 'My all new game Drop Dot is out now' means nothing to anyone
Also, you have links in your thread, but people are clicking them blind.
My advice, Toucharcade wise, is to look at the threads with lots of responses. Look at how the thread starter includes videos and images directly into the thread. Look at how the title is constructed. Notice that the thread can grab iTunes info and present the game to people in a nice format automagically.
Make sure you subscribe to the thread you make so you can respond to any comments or questions. The TA crowd can be quite vicious if you're serving them crap, and rightfully so! But if you have a fun game, people really are very kind and enthusiastic over there.
I'm sure that there are people on the TA forums who might enjoy your game - but people want convenience - they want to make a judgement straight away as to whether it's worth them taking a closer look at your game. The way your thread looks right now, people will just click off.
Lastly, I haven't personally downloaded your game. Not because it does't look nice, but because I've played dozens of games like it already (as you mention, it's from a template).
This is a bit brutal and honest, but you seem very sincere in wanting to make games and I didn't want you to think that no-one cared.
I just think that working a little harder on how you present the game to the world might help! You see it here all the time! "Download my latest game" says the title. No link in the description.
People, in general, have so many options these days that they just will not care about something someone they've never heard of has done unless you hook them in, and quickly!
I'm not saying 'Go on a marketing course' or 'hire some dodgy company to get you downloads'.
I'm saying 'Get better at making it effortless for a player to see what your game is about and if they'd like to give it a go.'
Hope that helps!

Awesome and thanks for the constructive criticism. I will have to rethink this app thing and apply what you have said. Thanks for the thoughtful comment!
