Chopping Pictures

Hi, I have started to use Game salad more frequently now and I have some new questions.

When I put an actor on the screen and add a picture, the picture is sometimes has edges cutting in and out (for example a stick man) and my collisions are happening when the actors are not exactly touching each other. Just when the shape of the square actors are touching each other.

Is there something in game salad where I can change the normal square collision shape to match my object or do I have to do it outside of game salad in some type of program, or is there no way at all

no, every single actor in gamesalad can only have a square or circular collision shape.
