Weird problem with the iOS App Store.

Well I submitted an update to my game and on all 5 of my test devices the game works just fine when loaded on the device from xcode but if you download the game from the app store it crashes immediately upon playing 100% of the time on every device (including the test devices). Obviously there is nothing wrong with the code from gamesalad since it works just fine when I don't get the game from the app store and also it passed Apple's review process, so they didn't see anything. What is my next step on solving this? I tried contacting developer support but they are no help and basically telling me its an issue with the game.

    I think I have the same problem, my little game was on the App Store past week (I know it´s not really good : it´s my first one !! :smile: )

    Everything worked well during one week but today, everytime I open my game : the app crashes ! I don't know what I can do & crash reports aren't available cause there is no enought report...

    I can confirm that your game is crashing on startup (or shortly after) on my ipod4. It would seem very unusual for it to have run ok initially though.
    How does it run as an adhoc? What's your memory usage like? Perhaps there's something in your first scene that's the issue?

    Yes, I agree but i'm sure that before today everything was Ok.
    I have not Adhoc version but it works well on GS viewer (mac & device)

    Do you think that initial ads can be a problem ?

    Hi!

    I'm having same error with my adhoc build. I believe it has something to do with the ads, because my games crashes immediately when I click ads off the screen.

    Don't dismiss your game like that. How many people do you personally know that have created anything at all, let alone something interactive that people can carry around in their pockets? Congrats on your first game!

    With mine the adhoc version works perfectly. its only when it is downloaded from the app store it had the issue.

    UPDATE: after speaking with Apple all morning and this afternoon, it seemed like they had a major issue with updates and I wasn't the only person with the problem. After giving it sometime (they said after it goes live on the app store it can take 24 hours before its fully ready to go on their servers) it now randomly works without crashing. Strange.
