I'll post an update tonight or tomorrow. Likely tomorrow. I'm traveling for a GameSalad board meeting. Will do my best to update you all.
Looks like stable build is likely next week. More news soon.
I know it might be frustrating to some, but I'd rather wait another week or two if it means the bugs are ironed out to get a REALLY stable build. Looking forward to the update.
I really like the new Zendesk look by the way - very clean and fresh and easy to use...
Here is the place and time for any of you to remind them of any issues that you know arent fixed and you felt have been overlooked. Start listing your bugs and issues now. That way you might reduce the amount of issues we will have once they release this new " stable" version next week. Heres your chance to say " HEY!!!! what about.?..?....? and what about..?..?

actually, the place to do that is in the RC2 release thread, or by submitting bug reports so they actually get into the work pile. posting here just allows people to vent. If you don't have a ticket number, it's best to assume that QA/DEV is not looking at it.

Is it a bad idea to submit my game built on the latest RC to the app stores now? My game looks stable enough or should I wait for a true RC?
@phamtastic Have you tested an adhoc using Instruments? I did and I noticed how the memory usage increased with every scene change until my device crashed so I submitted a bug report - although I figure from other postings they were fully aware of the memory leak.
I'd personally wait unless your game is really small and won't suffer from the memory problem...
Of course, just IMHO. Good luck.

Getting antsy for an update. tried some 11.0.2 stuff, and all of the touch is pressed actions stopped working. I have a back-up in 10.4.1, but it does have me worried.

OH MY GOD THIS IS LIKE 3 weeks in a row the weekly update has been late!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
@darrelf never heard of instruments before as this is my first game
i was able to run it and didn't see any problem as my game stayed within 60mb of ram... i guess that's good
Question. Why is there not a GameSalad app? I mean c'mon then we'ed be able to test right then and there, even more convience then we already have. Why not? Anyone?

apple has never liked the ability of iOS apps to run external code. That's why you typically don't see very many emulators on the store, the ones that do exist are under very strict rules. I think gamesald runs afoul of that.

To learn how to use XCode instruments check out the excellent video by @FryingBaconStudios . He explains how to use it to check the memory footprint of your game.

Hehe just kidding.
I did wake up this morning in a strange amphibious community and barely escaped with my mammal hood.
Hi,
Does anybody know, if this stable release, will have the Android issue regarding not designed for Tablets? Thanks and God Bless...
Sincerely,
Sunday

alas... the ease of our lives: apple.
No worries. You're not developing with windows. You're fine
I think we should just do away with weekly updates and move on to monthly!
It seems CodeWizard may have forgotten his salad and left it at the board meeting.
Then again a Wizard never forgets his salad. He leaves it precisely where he means to.
I haven't forgotten. I'm posting now.
