WIP - Ivy

Inspired by a method uploaded by @gyroscope in response to someone's question, I found myself making a little game I felt like playing.
The object is simple - close the ivy gates to stop the blocks reaching the right side of the screen.
- You can only destroy ivy blocks with the corresponding ivy gates
- White blocks must not be destroyed, black blocks can be destroyed by any gate
- As you progress further, ivy blocks must be hit by multiple gates to be destroyed!
Unfortunately it's one of those games that can only really be played on the device - it's just too difficult to move the mouse fast enough
And a little bit of video so you can see it in action!
It's nice and smooth in viewer/on device, but gets a little stuttery when recording (probably too many big documents open in Photoshop).
There's not much more too it than seen. Anyhow, feedback welcome!

Looks cool. Call it Flappy Ivy and your onto a hit. But seriously it a great mechanic. And the type of game thats in the genre of Flappy. One tap addictive.
Sweet.
Very nice!
One suggestion from seeing the video:
Allow 2 (or more!) gates to be closed at once.
The reason being that you lost lives, not because you weren't clicking the corresponding gate, but because closing the corresponding gate means that you can't close another gate in time.
Example:
In your vid, at around 35 seconds, you close the red gate - this means that you miss the blue block.
Of course, if you can already do this (and just can't show it in the video!) then ignore what I've said.
(you could, for testing purposes, make the gates close via buttons - e.g. 1 for the first gate, 2 for the second etc etc - that might also help with videos too!)
QS =D

You can absolutely close as many gates as you want on device, I was just too lazy to add keyboard commands for making the video :P game quickly becomes impossible if you only use one at a time
Thanks for the comments guys!

Lovely!
Have added a jiggle to the gates when they're hit by an incorrect block, and to the whole screen when a block reaches the right edge. I did this partly to add some more "negative feedback" and because it gave me an excuse to finally make and use an actor called The Jiggler.
(Not my image, and not in the game. I don't even like Adventure Time that much. I just love the word jiggler.)
Also, working on some achievements. Going to pump this game full of all the stuff Apple loves.
So far I've got:
Making up achievements for such a simple game is hard

Hey, @Armelline, thanks for the credit, appreciated! I'm pleased my l'il GSC file inspired you to make a full-blown game.
It's looking good, and getting sophisticated with all the achievements, for example. ("Titchmarshed" - Ha! Funny but our non-UK friends probably won't understand that!)
Best of luck with Ivy, I hope it goes from strength to strength.
P.S Love "The Jiggler" - most surreal, but excellent!

Thanks all!
Any time! I looked at the little demo to see if you did it the same I would have (I always want to see if things are done the same way I would :P) and pressed it. It was so satisfying I said to myself "I must do this more." So I made a game! I ended up implementing it a bit differently but the effect is very much the same!
I considered that but decided "meh". I went to uni with a guy who was a dead ringer for him. Eerily similar.
I can't take any credit for The Jiggler, but he's one funky little dude!
On a side note, that little demo you made was probably the first time I ever saw anyone actually use scene attributes.
