Trouble adding a constrain attribute reference under the constrain: field.

I am very new to this program. I am trying to go through the windows manual tutorial, "Making a game" ver.10.0.In backstage, I cannot enter any data into the Constrain Attribute Behavior. Labeled "constrain" ,I am however am able to write to the "to" field. I am trying to load a real attribute into the Constrain field.This is at page 19 of the windows manual,at the top for reference. Any suggestions would be very helpful and thank you in advance.Sincerely Christoph.

The left side of a constrain attribute behavior (also change attribute and quite a few other behaviors and rules) must be selected from a drop-down menu of attributes. In fact, any time you use an attribute it must be selected and not typed in directly. Normally, this means that you click in the blank field and select the name of the attribute and then click on the 'e' to open the expression editor and select an attribute or type a value or expression.

That is the issue, no drop down box is activated, when clicked on. So I tried to type in the real attribute. I am at a stalemate.

I'd recommend checking the Windows Start Here thread that is stickied at the top of the forums home page and if that doesn't help, submit a support request.
