The full version, I set my release day to 2 days after it was approved.
The lite version, I set to the day it was approved...
Just double checking, when people say the new releases section, they do mean, in the category. i.e. Games/Puzzles then under 'Release date'?

I think that was more due to not being on some other popular websites main topics...
but we shall see.
Really hoping to do a good update on the game soon, to fix any niggling problems i.e. multitouch blocks, the randomness of level difficulty. Weird how I've had some feedback, people saying its too easy, others saying they can't get past level 1.

getting similar rankings under simulation.
Seem to have a chart position in every country, albeit pretty low down.
Its a shame your sales don't update as quickly as the chart position.
I'm using the demo of AppViz, plus registered for free with Appylizer, which works in the program to see the rankings. Great bit of software, will definitely buy when my 30 days are up.

This is your 3 apps positions, it shows a lot more than the top 200 like appfigures does, not sure on what appviz do

though appviz I think possibly offers more, as it shows your ranking in countries around the world, plus you can browse all your reviews, see your sales, revenue, and upgrades

Averaging 500 day at the moment.
The paid version dips from 20 to 5 sales a day...

Your app is shown on the release date that you set. Then within that release date...all apps are organized alphabetically. If you want to be high on the list...start your app name with a number. If you want to be low on the release date list...name it "ZZZzzapp".
Re: foreign (non-US) sales...
I wouldn't take too much stock in high rank placement in the obscure countries. In Malta we made it to #10 in Lifestyle in the first week for our Rum Connoisseur app and #337 overall. To do that...we had 1 sale there. I guess there aren't a lot of users in Malta and 1 of the 3 users there bought our app. 5 weeks later we are still in the top 250 ranks there. We had a similar experience in the Czech Republic.

@ Bark Bark, that could be the way forward.
Also I've just upped the price of my paid version to see how that effects sales, if it halves them or not. Only upped it to level 2.

need to get cracking on an update for the game really.... bit busy doing other stuff... frustrating not having enough hours in the day to do GameSalad, normal job and have enough spare time to maintain a front that I'm really not a geek...
Free Sales, now up to 34,000 ..... hoping to hit, 100,000 by December...
Paid sales vary from 5 to 15... at the moment.
