Creating All forms of Media and Selling Them?

Hello All,

So I have created some sounds, actor images, and backgrounds for personal projects of mine. And I was wondering how I could go about putting these things on the GS marketplace, how the account for payment would be handled (linking it to my bank or what ever) and a few other things.

Is there a fee or royalties GS collects?

What type of format do I need to save the sound files as?

What Size, Format, and Resolution do I need to save the images as?

How many versions of the Images do I need?

Are the Files I put on there going to have to be specific Formats, Resolutions, and Sizes for each different platform I wish to sell them for?

Anything I am missing that I should know about doing something like this?

Thank you for all the help anyone can provide,

Jigglebox

Hello @Jigglebox some things that you should know before publishing is:

1: Your items must qualify for the marketplace, in other words, they must be good quality items or they will be rejected.

2: You must have a PayPal account.

3: You must be 18 years or older to have the ability to sell on the marketplace.

4: The items must not go overboard with the content dress code, in other words, no extremely inappropriate content. However I think bloody or gory items may be fine as long as it's not too graphic(Don't count on it).

5: Try and set a reasonable price for your items, don't overdue the pricing or chances are no one will buy it. A good strategy is to make the items cheaper, because even though they are low prices they add up quick depending on how popular the items are. However, do what you feel will help you most.

6: Keep in mind that GameSalad currently takes up to about 70% - 75% of your earnings per sale.

Information is based off my own experience and what I have read in the CookBook

**Feel free to read the "terms of service" for more information: http://gamesalad.com/terms **

Please let me know if this information/data was useful. Thank you and good luck with your sales! :D
