Hi there, im using gamesalad on windows. Just curious, has anyone here exported to the Mac Creator and then used a virtual mac like macincloud.com to upload to the app store? Id like to hear of your experiences because im unsure as to how to proceed... i could either use macincloud or something similar or borrow a mac but id have to wait a while for that.
thanks

Really sorry to burst your bubble but unfortunately you have to have a Mac to do any publishing to the App Store. There is stuff built into the Mac Computers that is needed to be able to do so. You can't use a Virtual Machine or a Hackintosh. Must be the real deal!
I was wondering if anyone has used services like this to upload to the appstore.. and they say they use real macs and not virtualisations.
Also, just to throw this out there if you wanted to, I know there are a couple people including myself that sell services and can be your so called publisher. This could be a good option if you don't have a mac, it's confusing to figure out the publishing process, or a number of other reasons. There is that option as well. If that is of any interest to you, feel free to send me a PM and we can talk about it. Good luck with everything!
Hi all, just an update for future users.. i tried it and it works!!!!! it was smooth and i had no issues using xcode or with keychain access. My first app with gamesalad is now awaiting review! Just letting you all know in case someone in the future searches for the same thing. Cheers!
Nah virtual would work just fine! I've publish 3 apps to the app store using a windows machine with Mac in vmware. Macincloud will work perfectly.
