help spawning random actors windows gamesalad

hello i am wondering how you would do this spawn random actors on screen like in the tshirt booth random spawn actors in gamesalad video it is a little different on windows i follow it

could someone explain the windows way of achieving this
a video tutorial or a screen shot of rules .. thanks will be much appreciated

Hey guys, I'm really sorry but its goodbye windows.

ensure you are using the integer for the random spawn. When he drags in "change attribute" you need to put that in the 'DO' section.

He then goes onto using a rule, once the rule has been instead drag "attribute" into the rule section. (Mac has the attributes already 'built in' to the rules)

Put the spawn actors inside the rule under the change attribute, should work fine. if you need anymore help i can guide you through it, unfortunately I cannot show you my rules or make a vid as my pc has died. Unless you can wait until I buy a new one haha Hope you sort it

To change the Rate the actors fall - go into the spawner actor and change the timer (currently set to 0.3 seconds) to whatever suits your need

To change the Speed the actors fall - go into the RandomActor and change the Interlope timer (Currently set to 1 second) to whatever suits your need

Yeah are I have made a template spawning from the top and falling to the bottom, rely easy to change so it spawns from left and travels right: (I think thats what you mean)

In that template change the following:

Spawner - Change the spawn actor from X-random(50,518) Y-370 to X-0 Y-random(20,300)

RandomActors(AllOffThem) - Change the interpolate behaviour to Move right rather than down

is it true like this.... interpolate : self.position X to -100

Almost, To move from right to left you want to Interpolate self.postition.x to 480 Just off to the right of your scene

And to move from left ti right you want to interpolate self.postition.x to -50 Just off to the left of your scene

i already try...self.position.x to 480 but the actor move from right to left.. not right to left...

@musafirhina69 Here's the template, sorry I haven't managed to include a video, check the behaviours on the RandomActors, I forgot to change interpolate self.position.y to self.position.x
