Bug: Moving by Spawn

I have a template that creates movement of a segmented actor via spawning up to an attribute set length. The oldest segment is destroyed when the length is exceeded as the movement continue at the max length.

It works fine when using the keyboard arrows to direct movement. When you change the movement control to touch (control pad) the destroy rule never gets invoked.

Also if you do not "trick" the movement rules by first setting the direction to 0 (no move) the first move in any direction is infinite and hangs.

What can work around this bug?
