Missing buttons

Am I missing something here. When I double click the Icon to open up GameSalad it pulls up the program with a blank work space. To pick anything like the Platform I have to go to the menu and click "new" then the Create New Project shows up so i can choose. On top of that I seem to be missing buttons in the program itself. I have no "home" button. It that normal? I only have the free version.

The Windows interface is VERY different from the Macintosh interface. Are you using the Windows version?

Sounds like you are on the windows version. The windows version doesn't have everything that the Mac version does. The Home button is one of the few things that it lacks.

Yes I am using the Windows version. Is there a fairly simple way to run the MAC version on a Windows PC?

Some people also use http://www.macincloud.com for GameSalad development though I haven't personally used it.
