Hi all,
I have an animated 3D character, how to make it flat ? or I can just export it as PNG images and it will be flat ?
PNG 8 or 24 ? IF PNG 8 it asks for colors: 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, and 256 , which is better ?
If the character is exported as PNG it still look like 3D, is it fine in 2D game in GS ?
Any idea ?
Thank you

If you want to keep the animation sequence then export every frame of the animation as a separate PNG image. In gamesalad you will essentially "play" the animation like you would an oldschool flip-book. It will still look just as 3D, even though it is all now 2D images.
On a side note, make sure that the images that are exported are all the exact same size (height & width). Otherwise, the animated character may be skewed in certain frames of the animation.
