Display Text crashes

When I use the display text to create a scoreboard on my game it crashes. When I put other behaviors into my actor, they're fine.

Does it crash even with plain text ("Hello world") in the DisplayText behavior? If not, what are you putting in the expression editor? Post a screenshot of that behavior (see my signature for instructions).
When you say it crashes, what exactly do you mean? Does it hang/freeze? Does Creator unexpectedly quit? If you add a rule so that it only displays that text when touch is pressed, does it crash before you click on the actor or only after you click on it?
If possible, compress your crashing project file as a .zip file, upload it to a file-sharing site such as Dropbox or Mediafire, and post a link to it here.

indeed. create a simple empty project (on windows), add a 'display text' and boom! It crashes in a 'program stopped working' way.
@mrxjn Have you tried these suggestions? http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/59247/windows-creator-first-stop-if-you-experience-unexpected-behaviours/p1

@jjxchoi, @mrxjn, I have tested it on my Windows version and it seems fine.
Maybe post a screenshot of your code and the attribute content you are displaying.
Other than that, make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. The Windows version is sensitive to this. This is also mentioned in the post @tatiang suggests.

I didn't get any email notification of your replys, a good thing I checked this again.
Thanks for the suggestions! Yes I already changed my regional settings. No succes.
Its pretty simple, from the moment I choose displaytext, it immediately crashes.
I've made a recording: http://mdconsulting.be/gs/gscrash3.zip
I am going to check if there is anything of driver options I can update, I'll get back to this.
Thanks a lot!!
updating the graphics drivers was no succes , (due to this https://communities.intel.com/thread/33106) and I had to restore my wintendo.
But all the rest works in gamesalad, only the displaytext fails from the moment I choose it from the dropdown box (as you can see in the screencast). This doesn't look like the graphics driver to me.
@mrxjn, what system are you running on? Must be something exotic for such a driver bug.
I have it running fine with latest drivers on Vista, Win7, Win8 and Win8.1
Your video helped in reproducing the exact steps, which I did on all the systems. I could not get it crash, sorry. It must be specific to your machine.
Have you tried de-installing GS and installing fresh?

I run Windows 7 and it is a pretty clean install (haven't messed around with it to much)
I tried a reinstall but it didn't help.
some more specifics:
Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1
on a HP Pavilion dv7 notebook pc (64bit)
i7-2670QM @ 2.20Ghz
8Gb Ram
@mrxjn, hmm, and it does not allow you to update to the latest drivers because it has custom drivers :P I had something like that on an HP laptop before.

yeah I installed the latest drivers and after reboot my screen had like a red film on top of it , pc was unusable. So safe mode en restore. I was glad I had it working again.
What can I do next ? Wait for another release ? create a bug report or something ?
@mrxjn send us a bug report will a dxdiag of your system and any crash logs.
This happened to me aswell. So I guess I can't make a game with a score now O.o I'm really starting to not like the windows version...
I also have the same problem. I cannot figure out why it is doing this.
