"Display Text" crashes Creator

Hello, everyone! My name is megaron, and I'm brand new to GameSalad. I just started working on my first round of tutorials yesterday, and one of them involved using the "Display Text" function. The tutorial was about making a character walk through a door by way of the "Collision" rule. When I attempt to drag the "Display Text" function into the "do" section of the "Collision" rule, the Creator window just disappears. I've attempted it multiple times and received the same result. I'm not sure what I would need to do in this situation. My computer is fairly ancient, which may have some effect, but I wanted to check with you guys before sinking a whole bunch of money into a new rig. Thanks in advance!
