Hi all,
Pixel mines Games is happy to announce its first game just submitted on AppStore.
I've developed it in 4 months during my free time ( I'm a graphic designer and webmaster ), and I hope you will enjoy it ( and I really hope to be lucky with Apple's reviewing rules! ) !
Here some features:
Help Goro fulfill his dream! Lead him through platforms, trampolines and unexpected enemies to make him become the ultimate platform game star!
Once you begin playing, you will not be able to stop!
In order to go to the next level, you will have to run, jump and shoot at the enemies that you will find on your way. Remember that you can also use some of the elements in the background and move them to accomplish your mission, which will become harder and harder as the story develops.
Prove to yourself that you have the dexterity, precision and intelligence required to complete the game.
Come up with new solutions to show Goro… his way out!
Explore Goro's world subdivided into 44 levels, each of them populated by the craziest and funniest enemies you will ever see!
FEATURES:
- Fun and creative graphics
- Original soundtrack
- Platform-style gameplay with puzzle elements
- 44 levels and 4 worlds for hours of challenge!
- 2 levels of difficulty: NORMAL and SUPERHERO
- Auto saving system
And here my first 2 videos ( not a great video quality I've made them very quickly!)
Sorry for my poor english, I'm italian!
Suggestions and comments very appreciated!

very impressive...oh and your english is also damn good.... my italian is rubbish...
question. are levels just 1 'scene' like 4000x3000 big or something and then you just
put the background images and floors extra all around?
curious to the size of the scene and background image..
great job!
Good luck on the app store.
Thanks to all of you, I will keep you informed!
How many days are generally required for the entire process?
It's frustrating
second, yeah i know! very frustrating.
poodleinvasion has been "waiting for review" since may 2. =/
New Zeland Story was one on my favourites Amiga's games... it's possible that I unconsciously take inspiration from Kiwi...
look forward to your game
This one looks fantastic, would love to give it a try!
If it turns out well for you, be sure to write a "How to make your actor jump" tutorial. ;-)
Great Idea man I love the intro scene that you have. Killer graphics and it looks really nice.
you had my attention there and I would have bought your game.
but...
After watching the game I saw a few things that bothered me.
#1 interface graphics
you have great graphics, but the interface graphics on top right of the screen seem.. lacking to me. Maybe a better button layout for the controls also
#2 Vision range
There were many points in the demo where you jumped and fired a shot off screen to kill an actor that you knew was there, but the normal person buying your game wont know that someone is there.
#3 Some of the animations
I dont know if the "explosion" effect you have when an enemy dies was the right choice. maybe a mario type effect of the enemy falling off the screen would look better to me.
Just some constructive criticism, maybe somethings to look at for an update.
Like I said though from watching your intro you would have me sold! love the idea.
1. Interface graphics on top of the screen is a thing that I will improve surely, for the moment I've tried to make it as simple as possible.
2. For the moment vision range is limited to increase game difficulty. I've designed levels in a way that constrain player to memorize a little level's structure ( levels are not very big ). But yours is an interesting point of view
3. I have tried to introducing some differences with mario-style platforms, searching to recreate a sort of platform/shooter feeling... But I'm open to any criticism!
