gamesalad viewer won't detect my ipad for testing

the title says it all. I dont know what to do. I have been trying to figure it out for over 3 hours

    Do you mean GameSalad Creator won't detect GameSalad Viewer on your iPad?

    If that's the case, make sure you have the latest version installed on your iPad. If you are using GSC 0.10.4.1, the safest bet is to delete all viewers from your iPad, download the latest viewer again from the GameSalad website, and then install it on your iPad again.

    @gyroscope yes that is the problem. the GSC is GSV are both new and updated. I just downloaded it for the first time today.

    I had the same problem before. Mine was solved by downloading Xcode 5 as my previous version was old. Maybe you want to try the same?

    i found out what it was. it was a firewall on the wifi. I created my own network and it worked.
