Just uploaded a new promo video for Quake Builder, which is released this Friday.

Used an after effects project that I sell on revostock.com and added the screen shots and an awesome music track.



Let me know your thoughts...

Also does anyone know, if I paste some promos now, can they be used straight away or do you have to wait for the release date?

    I'll review soon. At first I thought sound was busted because it doesn't start with sound so I hit the sound and music on, well that turned it off for sure. this is what I took LWPAKMHLTJNT

    @Zepplin - I guess you can only leave reviews once it goes 100% live on Friday.

    @Rob2 - I made the video using Adobe After Effects...same sort of software as motion.

    I just watched the trailer
    2 things

    First - its frickin awesome! The Quality beats Tshirt's lights off with messy desk promo lol

    Second - If I wasn't a GSer i probably woudlnt check it out because there isnt really any game play that grabs me. Doesnt beat Tshirt's messy desker! Hate to be that guy but, i know you probably want honest advice. Give a good 10 seconds with some text that explains the gameplay Thats what people care about.
    Shirt got an awesome response on touch arcade with that sloppy video becaues it explained the game play

    Just my opinion, It really looks awesome though

    A good video can go a long ways on touch arcade from what i have seen

    @Zepplin..... cheers, got similar feedback on Touch Arcade....will try and get a 'how 2' video out next week.

    There is another video I made before the birds and all the levels were added...

    It shows a bit more of the actual gameplay. The other video is definately more movie trailer and less gameplay/review...

    Its no live in the U.K. app store this morning....probably live in the U.S. by now as well...

    please review if you've got a copy already.

    What do people think?

    any problems, things you like, don't like.

    Still too amateurish....levels too hard....music too loud???? (These are my main worries).

    not sure if all the promos have gone...if more are needed please message....

    Had a day of sending messages to people on Touch Arcade and facebook trying to get as many sales and reviews as possible.... it's almost tiring doing this alongside my full time job... err I mean I've been working really hard at work...

    Great Job!

    ALso that other video is quite nice.
    I really got what the game was about.
    It has an pretty original concept (at least as far as i know) and the video really made that clear.

    will try and do another video tonight... a proper how 2 play video...will have to dig out the video camera for that one I think to go for the sloppy style discussed earlier in this thread.

    saying that I have just been for a bug Indian meal and had a couple of very large Cobra beers...so I may just head home and sleep.... we shall see.

    About 8 of us GS users (organised by Quantum Sheep) are meeting up in London tomorrow...so hopefully get some nice feedback there...
