Actors don't show

When I drag an actor to the stage it dosn't show up. I finally found out that the acters are placed at some crazy coordinates way outside the stage. Often the coordinates say 0,0 and only after many tries I found out that it is placed outside the stage.

The whole coordinate system is not right. After manually entering new coordinates for an actor, it resets the coordinates and is now again calling its position 0,0. That makes it really difficult getting the actors in the right place. I finally got one actor right, but number two is always at the far left when running the game.

I have tried to uninstall, repair, download again. Nothing works. The software worked fine the first day I had it. It is the windows edition of Gamesalad, and I have Windows 8.

Any advice?
