Opinions on app acceptance

Hi all,
This is my first post so go easy :)
But basically I'm 14 and building my first app. It contains a soundboard and a game and is based upon a you tube channel.
I have a demo video here so you can see what it looks like: https://db.tt/Da6Oq4j7
What I would like to know is what your opinions are on the whole submission and acceptance process. I want to launch this app but don't want for it to be repeatedly rejected. Any tips on what I could do that would make it more likely to be accepted?
Many thanks for any response,
Dylan

You'll only get it repeatedly rejected if you don't pay attention to the reason why they rejected it the first time, and do nothing to rectify the problems they've raised.

I know it doesn't contain any swearing but you'll probably want to make sure you pick the correct minimum age. Releasing it as 4+ may cause it to be rejected because it's definitely not an app a 4 year old should be playing/using.

Get rid if the black bars left and right of the screen too, that's an almost definite rejection (or so I've heard)

    Good luck

    Hi Kevin,
The black bars were just there for the filming of the app. As you said I will probably rate the app 12+ other than that I should be good?
    Thanks a lot,
    Dylan

Yeah probably. Just make sure you pay attention to the reasons why they rejected it if they do, and keep your fingers crossed it doesn't end up in the hands of a reviewer that's having a really bad day, or one that really hates their job :)

I would also use the same X and Y coordinates for the buttons / banner on top for scene changes, your customers will notice it! Trust me :)

Just use one Y coordinate for the left row and one Y for the right row, then calculate the total free space you have, divide this by the number of buttons you have (on each row).
This will give you the space per button and everything should look really clean!
Thanks. I am really new to gamesalad so if you could point me in the right directin that would be much appreciated.
