actor tags stop working

My actor tag for the floors stopped working for some reason after gamesalad crashed. When I use actor type it works but I need to use actor tag for collision for my character walking on several objects. Anyone know how to debug this? I would rather not have to redo a week of work because of a corrupted file.

    if I readd the actors on the screen than those actors work with tags. but the old actor instance do not work even though they have the same behavior. Anyway to troubleshoot this at all? i have over 500 actors I need to replace and I don't want to do that one by one.
