How To Make A Actor Jump(Jump rules guide)

Can any one help me here to understand the jump Rules and Also can any one here also let me know the how to make an actor jump ?

GameSalad comes with a platformer template installed which has jumping in it.

I have issue on it .. my actor was jump but nvr fall back to his position ..when i pressed key for jump

Turn gravity on by going Scene > Gravity. Then play around the Y number to get the feel you want, or look to see what number the demo is using for Y.

Not working it ....can pls simply let me know the jump rule from the start .? :-*

There isn't a jump rule! Nor is there only one way of making an actor jump.

I'd suggest looking at the basic template and seeing why yours isn't working but that one is.

do you have gravity set up in your project, either through the scene wide gravity setting or an accelerate behavior on your player?
