Apple Publishing Problems

Hi Guys

I am having problems publishing my game. I have been following the tutorial on youtube by tshirtbooth and I get to the last step in application loader and I get this message

Application failed codesign verification. The signature was invalid, contains disallowed entitlements, or it was not signed with an iPhone Distribution certificate.

Any ideas please

Did you set up a distribution and developer certificate? And have you signed it with the developer certificate instead of the distribution one?

I didnt have the distribution certificate sorted but I do now and still coming up with the same error

And are you choosing the certificate when it comes to signing the app in the GameSalad process? Or is it by default using the previous one, the developer one?

I can't help you any further than that. Sorry.

Try the Apple Publishing section in the cookbook. It's what I used.

It sounds like you've got a JPEG picture that's got a PNG extension in the file name. Try opening that picture in an art program and re-export to PNG.

EDIT: Sorry that probably isn't a picture you supplied and is probably one that was packaged with the binary by GameSalad, in which case there's probably a problem with the server files.

You might be able to right click on the .app file and choose show contents, browse to the folder and image and open in your art program to see if it's one of your images, and maybe save over it with a PNG version by re-exporting from your art program
