Here is a game I put together using the DBA template "Mouse in the House" Here in Australia we are in the middle of an election. We have our current prime minister, Kevin Rudd, who has just ousted the former, Julia Gillard and is now competing against Tony Abbott. Isn't Politics fun.
My game has KRudd assembling his crew by visiting the various rooms looking for the very best people. NOTE: Not all the people shown will end up on Kevin's team, and you must learn that in order to advance. And Julia Gillard is there to avoid as well.
Once the team is together it's time for KRudd to go on the road and visit every part of Australia, collecting votes. Along the way he'll need to look out for his opposition leaders, Tony Abbott and Joe Hockey. The whole place is littered with Party propaganda. From the biggest parties right down to the smallest.
The game has been live since the start of August and is doing reasonable well. Has a live expectancy of until the election is over I suppose.
It's available as universal iOS and also google play.

That being said it is interesting to note that you chose Rudd as the character for the game. Rudd clearly has the intrigue and charisma (and I am being generous) for a game more than Abbot even though he will lose the election.
Who would make a game about Abbot!
