"Move" Behavior Key only moves to right, won't move left,up or down. I am using a toshiba computer windows 8 pro 64 Bit. I am working from the pdf "Gamesalad for windows" on page 13 for the Basic Shoot em up tutorial

So, I checked your video out and the solution is quite simple. Under each rule where it has "move in direction 0", the 0 has to be changed to the direction you want to move the actor. So moving right is 0, up is 90, left is 180 and down is 270. The key that you press just activates the rule, but you still have to put in the direction.

Thanks Shahotinaro, that worked! I also made sure that the player ship box was white when I added the ship (which is on page 12)

Yes, you are right Shahotinaro,the numbers work for the direction,right is 0, up is 90, left is 180 and down is 270

But,If I press the directions keys, they don't work. BUT THE NUMBERS WORK!

Gamesalad should note these changes in an updated pdf so we won't spend days trying to figure it out.
