Hi folks!
We're happy to announce that Lub vs Dub made it on to the App Store today! It's a univesral app for iPad / iPhone

The game’s core design – what’s believed to be a first – is that of a competitive infinite runner ‘battle’, with 2 players on one device. Merging the controls and concepts of 2D infinite running with competitive racer elements from the likes of Wip3out and Mario Kart, ‘Lub vs Dub’ has each player collecting and using powers to trip up, stall, or damage their opponent, whilst trying to avoid obstacles and collect hearts to win.
As a match progresses, the game throws in random ‘special’ waves - 20 second sections where the game plays differently; underwater sections have the player float instead of jump, or fast waves increase the game speed significantly to change the focus of the action. A ‘spin’ wave, has the players continue to navigate the obstacles but all whilst the world spins around the centre point, the most dizzying of game mechanics!
This all takes place in a minimalist, heartbeat themed world where a central ECG line divides the screen in two, with a player on each side. Characters can flip to either side of the line, where gravity will be inverted for them, and continue to run, jump and flip around obstacles. It takes seconds to learn, but much longer to master – a truly skill based yet tactical game.
The additional single player game has a more traditional infinite-runner goal - stay alive, collect hearts, and use power-ups to score big to compete on leaderboards.
