Can Macintosh files now be opened by the Windows version?

I know when the Windows version was first released it could not open files created by the Macintosh version, has that changed yet?

They can as long as it has been save in Mac creator version 0.10.1 the newest versions of GS broke this function. To many new changes I believe.
